Astara is a product of Centreline Technologies Pty Ltd. This page explains what information we collect through astara.au and the Astara workspace, why we collect it and how to contact us about it.

Information we collect

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional company name and your message. We use these details only to reply to your enquiry.

When you have an Astara account

Accounts are created by invitation. We hold your name, email address and the role you have been given, along with any contact details you choose to add to your profile, such as a phone number and job title.

Machine and production data

Astara collects operational data from your equipment, such as machine state, product codes, production totals and fault codes. This is information about machines rather than people. It belongs to your organisation and is kept separate from every other customer's data.

How we use information

• To provide the Astara workspace to you and your organisation.
• To respond to enquiries and support requests.
• To send service emails, such as invitations and account notices.
• To keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies

Astara uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in. The public website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Where information is held

Astara runs on cloud infrastructure provided by third-party hosting providers, with the application database located in Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Access and correction

You can view and update your own contact details on your profile page. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
